Polski Piach consists of musicians associated with the Warsaw improvisation scene and the Lado ABC record label. After their very well-received debut release 'Poludnie', exploring the sound of primal blues from the badlands, the band makes a step forward and presents 'Polnoc', recorded in a slightly different line-up, featuring Patryk Zakrocki on guitars, Piotr Melech on bass clarinet and Piotr Domagalski on basolia. The title conveys the dark, dense atmosphere of their new compositions, based on blues guitar pulsation, but also drawing on Polish sonorism and folk music.
