The Bluestime label was started by Flying Dutchman Records in the late 1960s, to issue albums by blues greats, hoping to cash in the blues boom. In just over a year ten albums were released, and ACE Records will reissue all ten as individual CD's. The first one in the series is JOE TURNER's 'The Real Boss Of Blues', from 1969. Added are two bonus cuts from a live concert recorded in 1970 at Carnegie Hall. The audio is taken directly from the original master tapes.
