Unsettling ambience and hammering percussion break up the rhythms that define Artik as an artist. 'The Robots At Dawn' is a choice selection of five tracks inspired by the Asimov book of the same title. Futuristic and rough, the EP opens with an ambient sleeperhold. Then there are three pure dancefloor cuts. The record closes with a necksnap-funk, distort-vocal track reminiscent of his previous outing on Monolith Records.
