A vinyl reissue of a classic 1980 album. Basement 5 was an innovative and highly original black post-punk group that created its own kind of politically charged, futurist dub. The lyrics were an attempt to reflect the situation of young people in Britain in the era of Thatcherism, high unemployment, strikes, racism, and working class poverty. This LP includes the band's legendary, hard-hitting single 'Last White Christmas'.
