Using cosmic soundscapes, elements of psychedelia, doom and progressivism, and melodies that melt through time, the music on this LP guides the listener through a wonderful mulit-dimensional parallel universe. Tortuga was founded by Argentine singer-guitarist Christian Van Lacke, also known from the band TLÖN. He is joined by Peruvian drummer Julio "Naka" Almeida (ex-Mazo) and bass player Jesus Morate, previously of the Madrid-based underground unit Nazca, and also a member of Peru's reunited '60s legends Los Saicos.
