Diblo Dibala is often described as the fastest of all Zairean guitarists. Diblo amply represents the post-Nico guitar tradition. His early years he spent in Kisangani before the family moved to Kinshasa in the early 1960s. He modelled his style after Docteur Nico and found his first job with the celebrated Orchestre Bella Bella. In 1975 he moved to Paris with his friend Kanda Bongo Man and later started the superband with Aurlus Mabele & Loketo.
