Originally released by Polydor in 1989, the self-titled debut full-length by the female-fronted pop-infused hardrock outfit gets reissued on CD, complete with remastered audio, four bonus tracks and a booklet. Back in the day, executives hoped to eventually develop Sandi Saraya into a sex symbol, making her a kind of 'female Bon Jovi'. The album spent 39 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at no. 79.
