Popis - SNAFU:
Situation Normal - All Fouled Up! That was the old USAF wartime expression that became more politely known as SNAFU. It might also have been applied to the situations bands experienced on the road - and the phrase certainly appealed to singer Bobby Harrison, when he fronted this excellent group. Here is the debut 1973 album from a top class outfit that quickly established a reputation for solid, heavy rock; a mainstay
of the college and club circuit. Harrison was formerly lead singer of Freedom and he teamed up with guitarist Micky Moody
to form Snafu with Pete Solley on keyboards, Colin Gibson (bass) and Terry Popple (drums) in 1973. This eight track CD includes such original band numbers as Said He The Judge and Funky Friend, together with a cover of Gamble & Huffs Drowning In the Sea Of Love. Produced by Vic Smith, the album has an original cover painting by Roger Dean and is designed by Martyn Dean with CD liner notes from Chris Welch. A British rock classic from the boom years. The debut album from one of the most popular British touring rock bands of the 1970s, featuring ace guitarist Micky Moody. Classic Roger Dean cover recently updated by Martyn Dean exclusively for this Repertoire release.
Booklet with authoritative and extensive liner notes by respected author and journalist Chris Welch.
