Rapso, the 1970s West Indian music from Trinidad & Tobago, incorporates soca, calypso and hip-hop. It was born out of the social unrest of the 1970s, when Black Power and unions grew on Trinidad & Tobago. 'Blow 'Way' by Lancelot Layne is regarded the first rapso recording. This set includes two LP's on 180-gram vinyl, a 45 rpm 7-inch single, a gatefold sleeve and a 20-page booklet.
