Seven years ago I wanted to make an album of my songs... Last summer we recorded ten of them, some new some old. I played guitar, mandolin, violin and guitar banjo as well as sing. Jay Huzil played guitar and bass on track 5 and Ammee Pearl sings backup on tracks 2,5 and 9. Jay and Ammee are in the hot band, Sweeteverafter. Through a friend, a writer from a local paper came by to interview me on my album. She enjoyed our conversation and the listening. I walked her home only to discover that she was in the third verse of my song, Little Saigon. Beat that!...oh, and by the way...that's the truth! I am after all, a storyteller.
