This album will appeal to fans of Black Sabbath, Reverend Bizarre, Lord Vicar, and The Wandering Midget. Serpent Warning formed in Joensuu in eastern Finland in 2009. Their inaugural demo-EP 'Beyond The Wisdom' was released in the summer of 2012. It showcased a seemingly inexperienced band with an extraordinary talent for writing memorable and highly addictive doom metal. Their approach to the genre was so pleasantly familiar and traditional, though nothing about them was derivative, pretentious or superficial.
