Assegai is an instrumental rock outfit consisting of saxophone, bass, guitar, and drums. Each member of the group brings a variety of musical influences to the eclectic entanglement that is Assegais distinct sound. Comprising seven tracks, 'Water Worlds & Dry Spells' is a further development of the unity that the musicians have found themselves in, where jazz phrases fuse with krautrock repetition, traditional folk themes and polyrhythmic structures.
