Originally formed by Dennis Coffey and Mike Theodore in 1977 in Detroit, C.J. & Co. released two albums in the '70s. They enjoyed big success of the single 'Devil's Gun' and then they faded away after one more album was released in 1978. It is a nice mixed bag of '70s funk, soul and disco.
