He continues with this palette by adding a single oboe to echo the horns of the opening theme, and underscores both relations with a sense of subtlety and melodrama. However, Shore constantly uses the string orchestra to represent the sinister, pervading through the otherwise normalcy. The many things going on under the surface is what 'Dead Ringers' is all about.
