This record with four songs marks Viaticum's first sign of life since 2014. 'Solar Transient' starts where the last album ended: with a deep space noise orgy. This time however more placable and with more confidence than the older works. This Swiss band call their music kosmikrock - deeply rooted in psychedelic krautrock of the 1970s crossed with spacerock and other genres with loud, playful and intense guitar riffs.
