This relese comes almost in time for the third anniversary of the 'Japan Blues' show on NTS radio, a monthly Japanese musical nabemono, occasionally straying into other Asian territories. The six tracks on this self-released album form an atmospheric Nipponese travelogue (involving samples, but also live vintage keyboards, a vocal, and self recorded field recordings), with some underbelly tourist spots taken in on the way. The tracklisting is printed on a lovely hand-made paper insert, to confound the download card fetishists.
