Based in Houston, TX, Atomic Opera had an unusual style that blended '70s prog with old fashioned hardrock and grunge. Atomic Opera was more or less cut from the same musical cloth as Kings X, laying down a sound that was thick and boisterous, but embedded with subtlety and intelligent arrangements.
