On vinyl, this is a reissue of 'Rebirth', the second (and best) of the three albums released by late '60s/early '70s band Blonde On Blonde. The debut album 'Contrasts' ranged from pop to rock, with elements of folk and psychedelia. But featuring the band's distinctive new singer Dave Thomas and fiery guitarist Gareth Johnson taking a dominant role, 'Rebirth' was a far more coherent affair.
