Trance Plantations is the project of Nathan Daems and Falk Schrauwen. Both musicians know each other from Echoes of Zoo, an idiosyncratic and energetic band that effortlessly mixes Ethio jazz and Afrobeat with unadulterated rock. For this project they again draw on a range of influences, but slow down the tempo. They draw on tribal and spiritual music from all over the world and launch them through their electro-acoustic mix.
