A collection of recordings of Dave Kusworth, also featuring Dave Twist (a.o. TV Eye and Tenderhooks) and Daryl Bath (Ian Hunter Band). Dave Kusworth was one of England's forgotten troubadours, not unlike Nick Drake. In his lifetime he was a struggling musician, a dreamer and a romantic, but also a sensational songwriter. Kusworth was a hero about town (Birmingham) in the late '70s and early '80s with his bands The Hawks and TV Eye. He then emerged wiith Rag Dolls before teaming up with ex-Swell Map Nikki Sudden to form Jacobites and record the gloriously shambolic but quintessentially beautiful 'Robespierres Velvet Basement'. He also played in Dogs D'Amour (briefly) and Bounty Hunters.
