Popis - KOMITAS VARDAPET - SIX..:
Keiko Shichijo is a Japanese pianist based in Amsterdam. She
focuses on both historical performances and music from 20th and
21st century. This EP contains works that are based on piano
music from 1906, written by Armenian componist Komitas Vardapet
for a cycle of dances. The material was recorded in Amsterdam
by Arnold de Boer (nowadays singer of The Ex). The piano used
is a Steinweg Nachf, built in 1880.
