Carla Boregas is a founding member of the band Rakta. Mauricio Takara is a drummer/percussionist who has played with Pharoah Sanders, Damo Suzuki, Yusef Lateef, Prefuse 73, Makoto Kawabata to name a few. Like a lucid dream meeting of synth waves, aquatic jazz spirits and drum-triggered electronics, 'Linha D'Agua' ('water lines'), is the suitable title for an album that traces boundaries between water and air through an echo chamber of dizzying oceanic layers and free flowing ideas.
