Originally released in 1965, now reissued on 180-GRAM VINYL (including an insert), this awesome big band jazz LP was recorded at the famous French Davout studio. The album title however refers to the concert at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, where the same musicians played the same material a few days before the studio session. The recordings also feature a.o. Woody Shaw, Nathan Davids, Sonny Grey and a selection of top French players.
