Reissue on CD of a very, very rare LP from 1958, recorded by members of a touring road show called 'Brasiliana', which was the brainchild of Polish producer Miecio Askanasy. Though extremely obscure, the music on this amazing album can be regarded as a cornerstone (or even a starting point) of the contemporary Brazilian sound.
