Looking to make something out of nothing like many inspiring rappers. JMG went through things that a lot of regular people can relate to. Coming from a broken home and growing up in the streets, where the odds turn against you. These experiences only ignited a flame inside of him to put his words into paper and the pen. In his short time that JMG has been doing his music independently and doing music that everyone can relate to. In his first street album in 2003 that JMG put together and finance out of his own pocket, was called “Play 2 Win”. JMG had his first taste of radio play and live on the air interview with ODM back when he used to run a show called “Raza Radio” on 99.1 fm. 2005 came by and JMG once again put together a sophomore street album that was called “The Town I Live In” which captivated the attention of so many people, with a single “We Came To Party” that made him internationally known in Japan. He ended up doing a Japan Tour from Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. JMG lyrics are about real personal experiences he goes threw. When pen and paper hit it becomes a soundtrack to his life. JMG is the real underdog of underdogs.
