Blakaz is the name of a project of Loya. The aim on this album was to collaborate with different artists from the Indian Ocean region to produce an album with each of them. Together with Menwar on 'Sagai', Loya sampled the sound of a traditional frame drum, the ravanne. The dialogue between electronics and acoustic instruments is the backbone of this project.
