'Time Waits' a.k.a. 'The Amazing Bud Powell (Vol. 4)' is also a Rudy Van Gelder session featuring Sam Jones on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. 'Buster Rides Again', the album's opener, may be one of his greatest cuts ever. The mid-tempo Afro-Latin groove pushes Powell to playing explosive rhythmic tone clusters, and the energy between Philly Joe and Powell is uncanny. Includes 4 bonus tracks.
