About Emyna One of the few Black women in Rock, Emyna is making her mark. A muti-talented musician, she writes and plays her own songs featuring her powerful signature vocals. Her talents on keyboards and guitar-both acoustic & electric- deliver her message with commanding bravado. Emyna's new EP, 'Get Me Out of Here',is a clear & bold declaration f her artistic expression. The album features the hit single 'Get It Away', which is co-written & performed with her son. The visual lyrics & resounding rhythms in all of her songs stand on their own & are perfect for adaptation to motion pictures & television commercials. the Rock queen graced stages all across the nation with her debut album 'Runaway', released in the mid 90's, this album still sells internationally. Emyna grew up in Houston, Texas, where she gained her first recording a& broadcast experience. There she grew artistically & professionally as an opening act for Chaka Khan & Sarah Vaughn & as a performer with member of the group Def Leppard. After many years in the LA scene, Emyna now tours internationally from her residence on her Arizona compound, just outside Las Vegas. Emyna is also an astute businesswoman with her own label, 'Starshine International Records', & publishing company 'Universal Truth Unlimited'. She will soon launch her own clothing line, 'Rock Queen Wear' to the design world, busting out in Las Vegas & Los Angeles in 2008.
