Presented on CD is the self-titled second full-length by the SF-based heavy psych/acid rockers. Offering 66 minutes of intense, mind altering rock, this collection is a much darker and heavier affair than their earlier work, forging boldly into other flavours of music (ranging from jangly psychedelic ballads to buzzsaw riffing, with songs veering dangerously close to stoner metal, manic surf/punk, and spacey atonal synth rumblings). Nevertheless, the band manages to bring it all back into a sound that is distinctly its own.
