The lost and unreleased 1982 LP by Trial By Fire. When Chicago punk legends Strike Under broke up in 1981, three of the four members went on to form Trial By Fire. This was one of the city's first bands to play thrash style hc, which made Trial By Fire scene favorites, especially among the younger allages
set. Far from being a by-the-numbers hardcore group, Trial By Fire's sound bore a heavy Stranglers and post-punk influence as well, which helped in the process of creating a unique repertoire which sits alongside the best of like minde units s.a. Naked Raygun. In fact, when bassist/vocalist Pierre Kezdy later joined Naked Raygun, he brought the classic tune 'Rocks Of Sweden' along with him. This LP, here on BLACK VINYL, includes a full-colour insert with rare photos and detailed liner notes.
