The movie 'Canone Inverso' (also known as 'Making Love') came out in 2000 and is a rather successful Italian love story featuring Gabriel Byrne about a violinist who stumbles upon the Jewish history of his family. Canone inverso means canon by inversion and is a compositional technique that employs a melody followed by a melody in contrary motion, exactly as the title track on Morricone's soundtrack does. The main theme is a great Morriconesque track: melting, full of pathos, emotion and melody. This will be the first vinyl release ever of this soundtrack. Comesn on 180 gram clear and solid red mixed vinyl.
