On vinyl, here's the score to Orson Welles' 1962 movie 'The Trial'. The atmosphere of the movie, combining Kafkaesque situations (leading to mental confusion) and nightmares fed by paranoia, is captured brilliantly by Jean Ledrut's accompanying music. The compositions make use of both original parts by -and adaptations of- Tomaso Albinoni's 'Adagio in G minor'. Some jazzy tracks, perfromed by the great pianist and composer Martial Solal, fit in beautifully. This edition is limited to 500 copies.
