Phase 7 was among the most successful disco bands in Hawaii during the mid-1970s. Originally founded by Van de Guzman and Hemingway Jasmin, the group consisted of the islands' top brass players and toured throughout the West Coast, Canada, and Hawaiian Islands. This US reissue is limited to 500 copies on green vinyl. 'So Good To Be In Love' is an uplifting Brazilian style disco-funk tune composed by Phase 7's Les Fernandez. 'Could It Be Love' mellows things out with an original soul groover written by bandmate Sandy Pascual.
