The Feelies have influenced bands like REM, Yo La Tengo, Real Estate and Weezer. In 2017, during the band's 40th anniversary, comes 'In Between' the first full album of all new material since 2011. While still rooted in the VU template, this album brings some interesting new sonics into the mix. The album is both quieter and more furious than anything the band has ever done before.
