...INSTRUMENTS, VOICES AND ORGAN' - Steve Reich's iconic 1974 TRIPLE-LP set reappears with unique new documentation, all in celebration of Reich's 80th birthday in October 2016. Recorded in the Polydor Studios in Hamburg in January 1974, the set was recognized as a breakthrough in Reich's career. It comprised his longest work to date, 'Drumming' (from 1970-'71), which goes on for nearly an hour and a half, and two works from 1973, 'Six Pianos' and 'Music For Mallet Instruments, Voices And Organ'.
