The only LP by Tommie Mansfield (a.k.a. Pekka Nurmi, a rock
muisician in cowboy's clothing), originally from 1972, is an
oddity. It's a rockin' roots guitar record produced by two
giants of Finnish free jazz, Paroni Paakkunainen and Edward
Vesala, and featuring highly regarded guests from Finland's
early '70s music scene. The LP offers twistin' and boogie-ing
versions of traditionals and classics, plus one original. A
remarkable reissue!
