Popis - NORTHERN STORIES 1978/80 [VINYL]:
Manicured Noise was Manchester's prime art/post-punk-funk act during the late '70s. They were woven deeply into the legendary Factory/Russell Club scene of the day. Their friends and peers included the celebrated artist Linder Mulvey and Joy Division (with whom they shared a rehearsal space). Tracks 1 to 5 were recorded September 1979 at TJM Studios Manchester. Tracks 6 to 9 were recorded at BBC's Maida Vale studio for a David Jensen session.
