Chelsea Wolfe returns with eleven songs that smoulder with
human frailty, intimacy, quiet passion, anxiety, and deep
longing. On 'Abyss', Wolfe continued her ongoing collaboration
with multi-instrumentalist and co-writer Ben Chisholm and
drummer Dylan Fujioka. Ezra Buchla was brought on board to play
viola and Mike Sullivan (Russian Circles) contributed guitar
parts. The result is doomy, haunting, dark and heavy, and may
