The Pax Trio, an exhilarating combination of piano, saxophone and tabla was created by Mark Springer and David Wright, both ex-members of the now legendary group, Rip, Rig & Panic - which featured amongst others, jazz giant Don Cherry on trumpet and his daughter, the singer, Neneh Cherry. On this debut album on the Exit label, Triptych, they are joined by master tabla player Pandit Dinesh. Their music is lyrical, dynamic and fresh, and all three are virtuoso instrumentalists in their own right.
