On this CD the sultan of Illinois, Hamid Drake, one of the most interesting drummers in contemporary jazz, plays the drums. On guitar we hear Paolo Angeli, his native island emerging behind each of his notes. The material was recorded live at Festival Isole che Parlano XVII, Teatro Montiggia Palau (IT) on September 15th, 2013. This is a split release between ReR Megacorp, Le Arti Malandrine, Isole Che Parlano and Angeli Manuche Productions.
