NEGUA is the name of a young Spanish band, led by UNOMA's guitar player Fidel VAZQUEZ, including David SAEZ on drums and David CONILLERA on keyboards and vocals, and also bass player Jordi PLANAS (DRACMA), plus an excellent lead singer, Xiscu LOPEZ. NEGUAs music is a dynamic neo-progressive rock à la MARILLION, IQ, mixed with influences from RUSH (the "eighties" albums), with also hints of the eighties "hard-FM" trend. Its based on powerful guitar riffs, impressive melodies, an expressive singing, and elaborate musical structures (lets mention a 22 minutes suite!): an excellent album!
