He also developed his skills in chamber music under the guidance of such musicians as Isaac Stern, Leon Fleischer, Bruno Canino and Emanuel Ax, as well as members of the LaSalle, Juilliard, Emerson and Guarneri Quartets. In May 2001 he was invited by Isaac Stern to attend Isaac Stern Chamber Music Workshop at New York's Carnegie Hall. Afinal concert at the Isaac Stern Auditorium, during which he performed in Beethoven's Piano Trio, was his Carnegie Hall debut. He was an official pianist of the 11 thand 12thHenryk Wieniawski International Violin Competitions in Poznan (1996 and 2001). He is aprizewinner of the International Piano Competition in Usti nad Labem (the Czech Republic) and of several national competitions. His honours also include the Best Accompanist Prize and an award for the best performance of a Beethoven sonata at the Karol Szymanowski International Violin Competition in Lodz (1997), First Prizes and special awards at the international chamber music competitions in Paris and Gdansk (2000) as well as honourable mentions for the best pianist at numerous international and national violin competitions. He is also aprizewinner of the competitions in Portschach, Kraków and Vercelli. Marcin Sikorski performs regularly with the Silesian Quartet and the violinist Jan Stanienda. He also appears with many upand-coming young musicians, including A. M. Staskiewicz, J. Nadrzycki, J. Haufa, A. Szymczewska, L. Balaban, K. Jaroszewska and R. Kwiatkowski. Foreign tours have taken him to the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Italy. He made numerous recordings for Polish Radio. He also pursues ateaching career at the Music Academies in Poznan and Bydgoszcz (chamber music and piano accompaniment in the violin class of Jadwiga Kaliszewska).
