While the first outing from Diskrepant, the "Folie à Deux" split CD with des Esseintes [FDS 04], had Per Ahlund delving into the relams of ear-shredding noise, the new album ponts in another, less visceral direction. "33-12" deals with the spirituality - not to be confused with religiosity - of Man. The sparse electronics are augmented by gongs, bells and the occasional chanting, lending a feeling of a sacred Tibetan ceremony performed in a high tech studio.
