The surrealistic lyrics by lead singer Charlie Key evoke the universes depicted in his paintings. These are populated with magic animals and strange symbolism. The music sounds similar to Eno-era Talking Heads, the vocals remind of Television, and we hear avant-garde tinged violin parts which will appeal to fans of Ornette Coleman.
