Popis - WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU, ROCK?:
Louder My Dear is new 4-piece indie rock concern based in Boston MA. LMD’s superb execution of electronic/ indie-rock pop spoils shoe-gazers, all the while delivering an array of fresh noise waves, and smart lyrics, to stand out from the current stock of reverb revivals. Following the success of the self-titled release by Scuba, and their unfortunate dissolution, David Grabowski (guitar/vox) found himself sitting on a cache of new material. Writing and tracking on his own, Grabowski acquired the help of Producer, Mike Quinn, at Moontower Studios, to bring those tracks to life. What emerged was Louder My Dear, and in 2010, the band began playing out regularly to an overwhelming positive response. The current line-up, backing Grabowski includes: Dennis Grabowski, of Boston ‘s indie juggernaut, The Beatings, now on guitar, Jason Macierowski (Das Happening, Necktie Party) on bass, and introducing Jim Greenleaf, un-jaded by the scene, on drums. What’s the Matter With You, Rock? Is the band’s first offering, though, buy no means should one expect a freshman effort. Mastered, divinely, by Eric Baird, at Half Son of Audio, What’s the Matter delivers a perfectly orchestrated balance of electronic pulses and waves, sided with slick pop lyrics, with an advantageous use of horns and handclaps, bestowing the album with a playful underscore. Louder My Dear has officially placed their bid, demanding distinction from a scene clogged with derivative poseurs desparate for a micro-second of praise, that you’d need a fire hose to blast out the gutter.
