Hecksher put together a group around a concept that embodied all hist best ideas of what a band should be. The result is THE WARLOCKS, featuring 2 drummers for a full, dynamic beat that throbs inside your bones, 4 guitars, all playing intricately interwoven variations on what seems like a very simple, primal rhythm, but actually turns out to be more in the nature of a relentless wall of polarize white noise, overlaid with gorgeous, lazy droning lyrics about pin, frustration, and illumination.
