Amongst the delightful and handsomely absurd recordings are Essex pre-Rubettes psychedelic outfit, 1984, a lost pop-psych gem from The Herd, Englands experimental armed forces The Motives, whose rare E.P. a lost jewel of UK psychedelia, is revealed here in its glorious entirety. Plymouths post-Betterdays folk-psych outfit, Clown, show their psychedelic intentions prior to their lone CBS single, Boltons R&B cohorts, the Atlanta Roots go for the jugular with their Beatle-esqe Plastic Daffodils whilst The Meek get caught up in the technicolour phenomenon with an absurd salute to psychedelia all of their own. If all that wasnt enough to initiate your immediate salivation, Electric Sound Show Volume Two also highlights a previously unreleased demo from Gary Walker & The Rains legendary No.1 LP.
This compilation offers the lucky listener an assault on the everyday senses in terms of experimental music with psychedelic pop and strangeness abound! Twenty-five tracks, the majority of which are previously unreleased and unavailable anywhere else aside from crumbling acetates and dusty tapes.
